位於JR宇治車站前，除旅遊介紹以外，還免費招待宇治茶、展示販售宇治觀光土特產。在宇治旅遊啟程前可順路前往。另備有便於殘疾人士利用的無障礙公廁。
此外，並設有宇治觀光義工導遊俱樂部，受理導遊服務報名。（參照如下）

■宇治觀光義工導遊俱樂部
為使旅客深入了解宇治豐富迷人之魅力所在，由義工導遊帶領介紹宇治城。
＊報名＊
盡量在一週前將利用日期、時間、人數、導遊種類、前往地點等聯繫妥當。另外，當天的報名也儘可能去滿足要求。（通過電話或傳真預約皆可）受理時間大概是上午10點至下午4點。
＊所需費用＊
1000日元（1名導遊的交通費）1名導遊，可帶領2至15名遊客的團體參觀。超過上述人數的團體，須增加導遊人數方可帶領參觀，請事先與本部協商。
＊導遊種類＊
・一般觀光（帶領參觀市內主要景點）
・源氏物語（帶領參觀源氏物語宇治十帖或平安時代的古蹟）
・需利用外語（以英語為主帶領外國人參觀）導遊時，需根據前往地點及利用時間安排行程，故請提出申請。
＊利用時間等＊
・利用時間原則上每次最多4小時，導遊時間為上午9點至下午5點。
・關於使用收費設施的費用及導遊途中的交通費，請旅客負擔實際費用。
